Every Sunday I’m working on covering or writing a new worship song for you guys, and to be honest with you all, for my wife too. This was actually all her idea.

2nd week in and it’s time for my 2nd song which is a song called You Made a Way by Travis Greene. I really dig it. The lyrics really speak to me and I’m sure they will to you too. 

What I really want you to know is that I am currently in such a ‘weird’ yet rewarding spiritual place. Back in Nov 2019, I decided to start a process which i called UNBOXING. I actually did a post on my blog about this, and if you want to get some context it kinds explains it: VIEW POST

In a nutshell, I have been trying to find things out for myself without any human written manual. Sounds bizarre? Sometimes i wont lie, i feel alone in this quest but it mainly has to do with my spiritual journey. My thinking is that our CREATOR, the creator of all that we see and feel, surely he/she/it cannot be boxed into something that humans can create/define. Surely God, our creator is so much bigger than all that. With that said, surely if God is so incredible and available to us then my quest is to search, to try and find God in my day to day and figure out what I think God is about without any boxes we humans have created.  

Am i Christian? I have been all my life and that journey and pathway to God is an incredible one that has really sharpened me as a human being. Its also broken me completely but hey thats a part of life. BUT, in Nov 2019, i told myself all i want to be is a human being, searching for God in his everyday life, connecting with God in the many marvelous ways a day offers, being love and searching for things that represent love, WITHOUT boxing myself into an institution. 

One of the thoughts that really made me think this way, and made me as curious as i am, was from Oprah. She said something along the lines of, “In a world with over 7billion people, surely there are many ways TO God.” 

That really got me thinking. A part of me thought, NO, that’s correct. The only way to God is through Christ. However, and please note I’m no expert, just a human being passionate about this life and curious as ever to dig DEEPER, beyond WHAT WE ARE ACCUSTOMED to, or taught. We need to learn and BE WILLING to search. There is so much more below the surface. The more I search, in what is truly a very new pathway but exciting nonetheless, is that i am experiencing and feeling God in MANY different ways. 

In conclusion, all i really wanted to say is that wherever you are, whomever you are, whatever you believe in, and whatever you think this life is about, remember LOVE. Love is the greatest phenomenon to me. Its who i believe God is. Because irrespective of whatever you stand for, LOVE is something WE ALL need/desire.
