From my very first TV show right up until this day … I find myself super blessed to work with a brand I have loved for a very long time! They were the first ones to believe in me when it came to the vision I had of food, cooking, and turning it all into entertainment. They have constantly been there for me through the good and the bad and are a perfect example of building strong relationships that can go past the regular corporate rut you can get stuck in.
I have learnt a lot from this partnership and continue to do so. Its a brand that speaks for itself and one year I had the privilege of heading up the creative for their inserts/advertisements inside the TASTE magazine.
My thinking was simple. We need to incentivise the reader to not only see a beautiful picture but be drawn towards the product and the experience it could offer. So I made a string of content that were essentially recipes but shot in a specific tone to meet brand perception and overall tone of brand.
Often as content creators and creatives the most important part of it all is getting out of yourself and your mind and getting into the shoes of somebody or some other brand and create as if you were them.
This string of content is something i’m really proud of and below i have placed a couple of the videos/recipes that i developed and shot for SMEG.

I know it’s titled “Easter” but listen we all know that a stack of pancakes with layers of whipped cream and chocolate mousse and a Nutella glaze should be consumed a little more often than once a year 🙂
