“Treat your art as if it were a prince … let it talk to you first.”
Via J’Something on YouTube
A quote I read today that impacted me quite a lot … I wanted to explain how it spoke to me and hopefully encourage you also on your craft, whatever it may be that you do. Essentially a prince receives respect and attention.
So then give your business, your craft, or even your relationships that level of respect and attention. Approach it with the same level you would approach something of the utmost importance. DONT be caught up in comfort zones, warm patches, where everything is just perfect and you wanna try and keep it like that for as long as possible.
But also, it made me think of allowing AN IDEA to speak to you first in depth, to give it time and sit with it and listen to it and see how it makes you feel further down the line. It’s a hard one for me because I’ve always been more an in the moment type of person, but I’ve really learnt that like tea needs to seep to get its flavour and benefit, so an idea also needs/deserves its time to breathe, to linger, to get maximum value.

Great content. Nothing beats good music food and a nice pair of sneaks. I really enjoyed it.
